Zeynep Falay received her Bachelor Degree in Industrial Design at the Middle East Technical University (2000) and her Master of Arts degree in Product and Strategic Design at the Helsinki University of Art and Design (2006).

During her MA, she completed minor studies in International Design Business Management Program and participated in Born Global Research Project at Helsinki School of Economics, where she researched entrepreneurial designers as part of her MA thesis.

In 2005, she started to work as concept designer in Starcut Helsinki, where she designed the user interface for different Nokia Applications such as Nokia Channels. Currently, she continues to work as design manager in the area mobile marketing of Nokia Nseries products.
